We are excited to have this rare and very collectable modern classic Porsche 911 in stock. The 996 40th Anniversary, celebrated 40 years of the Porsche 911, and was sold in 2003 and 2004. A total of 1963 were built (the year the 911 was introduced) and we believe only around 200 came to the UK. This is car number 638. It benefits from a complete and thorough engine rebuild on 06.11.2019 by a Porsche Specialist costing £15,119.35 and will come with a 2 Year Comprehensive Warranty. It is finished in gleaming GT Silver Metallic (special colour only used previously on the Carrera GT supercar). At the front it features the large intakes from the 996 Turbo with unique body-coloured slats. Down the side are Aerokit-style sill extensions, while the rear end boasts a 911 40 Jahre badge. Inside, is a pair of Dark Grey Natural Leather, heated, hard-backed Sports seats, a numbered 911 40 Jahre badge, a GT Silver centre console, Bose sound pack, silver bezel surrounds and unique 911 sill plates. The icing on the cake is the X51 Power Pack which takes the engine output to 345bhp, 25bhp more than standard; that’s second only to the GT3 in terms of naturally aspirated 996 power. The Sports suspension is lowered by 10mm and firmed up to improve the handling, aided by PSM (Porsche Stability Management). All of which makes the 40th Anniversary a fantastic car to drive. The previous 30th Anniversary cars have rocketed in value, and we wouldn’t be surprised if these follow suit.
