A Typical Customer Journey with Invictus Motors

We are available on the phone for you 24/7 all the way through the transaction and beyond. We do things differently and are proud of it, we're straight forward and as such have developed a successful process which enables us to sell high quality cars to very happy customers:

Initial Conversation

We will go through the details of our car with you on the phone and answer any questions. During that conversation, we will discuss:
  • If you have a part exchange - we can go through the details on the phone and can offer you a price subject to seeing and driving it on the day.
  • If you require finance.
As long as your car has been described correctly there is no embarrassing haggling needed, as everyone already knows where they stand.

Deposits & Viewings

We are able to provide a completely bespoke service for every customer, however there are 2 general types of customers we get:

Short Distance Customers
  • Once a deal has been agreed in principle, a viewing is booked (we operate on an appointment only basis to make sure we can devote our full and undivided attention to our customers), during the viewing our specialist team goes through the entire car inside and out highlighting all imperfections including all paperwork.
  • Once you are happy with the vehicle and decide you want to purchase, we have a test drive policy in place to protect our cars and our future customers cars.
    Test Drive Policy: Our mission is to source and supply the very best examples from each manufacturer as possible. Invictus Motors test drive policy is designed to reassure our customers that their vehicle has not be subjected to multiple short test drives over its time with us. We will provide a comprehensive familiarisation drive subject to a purchase agreement or a test dive subject to a £100 non-refundable deposit. The deposit will form part of the payment should the test drive result in a direct purchase of the vehicle driven or similar example from Invictus motors at the time or in the future.
  • The customer can then drive the car away, or leave a Reservation Fee to arrange collection/delivery of the vehicle. All DVLA and relevant paperwork is completed for the customer so they can simply drive the car away without having to worry about anything.


Long Distance Customers
  • Once a deal has been agreed in principle we book a video call, during the video call our specialist team goes through the entire car inside and out highlighting all imperfections as if you were viewing the car in person, then copies of all the paperwork is sent over to you via WhatsApp/email for your review.
  • Once you are happy with everything, a non-refundable deposit is taken to cover the cost of delivering the vehicle (delivery costs vary, please contact us for a quote) and we arrange delivery for a time and date suitable for you.
  • On the day of the delivery the driver will contact you in the morning with an updated ETA and keep you updated throughout their journey, once the driver arrives you get to inspect the vehicle and paperwork and test drive the vehicle. The remaining balance is then payable and all the paperwork with DVLA and otherwise is handled for you so you can begin driving the car straight away.


This process enables us to spend quality time with our customers rather than being so busy showing people cars that we are unable to offer you the attention you deserve. We're not trying to sell everyone a car, just to accommodate the genuine buyers in the most pleasant way. We love buying cars back that we have previously supplied, so please remember us when it's time to sell!
